A recent find from Madagascar; Pegmatite, often called “Unicorn Stone” is most commonly comprised of quartz, feldspar, and mica. It is known for its unusually large crystals and unique mineral composition, which can include a variety of other minerals, making it visually striking and appealing.

Here are just a few of the crystals that are commonly found in Pegmatite: 

• Lepidolite– Calming stone with natural Lithium inclusions that helps with anxiety, insomnia, fear, or polarized emotions

Key Characteristics of Pegmatite (Unicorn Stone):

• Composition: Pegmatite is primarily made up of quartz, feldspar and mica but it can also contain other minerals such as mica, tourmaline, beryl, clevelandite, smokey quartz, lepidolite and garnet. The presence of these minerals can result in a wide range of colors and patterns.
• Crystal Size: One of the defining features of pegmatite is its large crystal size. The crystals in pegmatite can grow to be several centimeters or even meters in length, which is quite distinctive compared to other igneous rocks.

Charge by placing on or near Selenite, Quartz Crystal or Smokey Quartz. You can also charge by placing your crystals in Sunlight for 1 - 3 hours or Overnight during a Full Moon - place your crystals on a table by a window or on a windowsill.
